Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: name, email, handle, and profile details you add.
• Community content: posts, prayer requests, comments, messages and group activity.
• Marketplace, events & giving: listings, RSVPs, volunteer sign-ups, and payment records (card details are handled by Stripe, never stored by BreadShare).
• Location (optional): an approximate location to surface nearby churches, events and rooms.

How we use it

Only to run BreadShare: connecting you with churches, groups and believers; facilitating safe exchanges and volunteer coordination; and keeping the community safe. We don’t run ads and we will never sell your personal data.

Your control

Every post has a visibility setting (everyone, your church, a group, friends, or only you), and prayer requests can be posted anonymously. You can export or delete your account at any time.

Security

Data is protected with row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is scoped to the minimum each feature needs.
